In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA), by a count of 18-8.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the La Canada Spartans (La Canada, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 2. Portola will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Hart (Newhall, CA).
The Aztecs now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon for a Crestview contest on Tuesday, March 5. Esperanza will confront a Comanches squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over University (Irvine, CA). The Comanches record now stands at 1-3.
