Georgia High School Lacrosse - Lanier drops to Sequoyah

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) lacrosse squad routed the host Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA), by a count of 26-0.

Coming up next, the Chiefs confront the Chattahoochee Cougars (Alpharetta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 1. Sequoyah will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 13-12 non-league loss to Westminster (Atlanta, GA).

The Longhorns now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Alpharetta for a 5A-6A Area 3 contest on Thursday, February 29. Lanier will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 15-4 non-league loss to Creekview (Canton, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-6.
