Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Canyon for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. Horizon will face a Rattlers squad coming off a 27-7 non-league win over Glendale (Glendale, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Canyon View falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Verrado (Buckeye, AZ) to face the Vipers in a challenge on Monday, March 11. The Vipers enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
