North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Mountain Island Charter drops to Lake Norman Charter

The Mountain Island Charter Raptors lacrosse squad (Mt. Holly, NC), was overwhelmed 27-2 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC)

Coming up next, the Knights meet the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 4. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Red Tornadoes enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 18-12 league win over Asheville (Asheville, NC).

The Raptors now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Community School of Davidson for a Catawba Shores/Metro 8/South Piedmont challenge on Friday, March 1. Mountain Island Charter will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
