In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Battery Creek Dolphins soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Whale Branch Warriors.
The Dolphins now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hampton County for a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. Battery Creek will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Whale Branch drops to 0-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC) to meet the Riptide in a non-league test on Friday, March 1. The Riptide come into the test with a record of 1-1. Charleston Math & Science lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Beaufort (Beaufort, SC)
