The Patriots now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Desert Edge for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Independence will face a Scorpions squad coming off a 19-0 non-league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Scorpions record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Central falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Washington (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Washington won 14-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ)
