Middle College Cougars (Los Angeles, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting George Washington Prep Generals (Los Angeles, CA), 16-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Animo Venice for a Crosstown/Ocean challenge on Monday, March 4. Middle College will face a Pirates squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Animo Leadership (Inglewood, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, George Washington Prep falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Generals host Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29.
