The Pirates now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Porter Ridge will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Hough falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Mooresville won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)
