St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Saints now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fisher for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. St. Martin's Episcopal will battle a Gators squad coming off a 14-9 non-league win over Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA). The Gators record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, McDonogh 35 falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Roneagles host Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
