California High School Baseball - Piedmont edges Acalanes

The Piedmont Highlanders baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Acalanes Dons to 5 in the Highlanders non-league win on Friday.

The Highlanders now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Piedmont will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Acalanes drops to 1-1 on the year. The Dons travel to St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-0. St. Ignatius College Preparatory 5-5 in their recent non-league test against Redwood (Larkspur, CA)
