California High School Baseball - Maria Carrillo defeats Alameda

February 28, 2025: Alameda, CA 94501

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Maria Carrillo Pumas (Santa Rosa, CA) and the host Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA), saw Maria Carrillo's baseball team gain a win over Alameda by a tally of 13-7.

The Pumas (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Vintage (Napa, CA). The Crushers enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Vintage held off Novato (Novato, CA), 6-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hornets face the Windsor Jaguars (Windsor, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 6. Alameda will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Justin-Siena (Napa, CA).
