In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Austin Maroons baseball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Rowe Warriors.

The Maroons (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Southwest nudged Rowe (McAllen, TX), 5-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Warriors play the Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 1. Rowe will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The go into the game with a 9-0 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Austin (Austin, TX).
