The Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Mission Oak Hawks (Tulare, CA), 18-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Golden Hawks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Centennial will clash with a Knights team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Justin Garza (Fresno, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Mission Oak drops to 0-2 on the year. The Hawks host Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Pioneer Valley won 11-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Ynez (Santa Ynez, CA)
