The Escambia Academy Cougars baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Central Christian Saints to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.
The Cougars now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilcox Academy for a non-league test on Monday, March 3. Escambia Academy will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Snook Christian Academy (Foley, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Central Christian drops to 0-1 on the year. The Saints host Aletheia Christian Academy (Pensacola, FL) to clash with the Lions in a test on Thursday, March 6. The Lions go into the test with a record of 1-2. Aletheia Christian Academy lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Booker T. Washington (Pensacola, FL)
