Texas High School Baseball - Churchill defeats Franklin

The Churchill Chargers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Franklin Cougars to 0 in the Chargers non-league win on Friday.

The Chargers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Eagle Pass for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Churchill will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.

The Cougars now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coronado for a 6A Region I District 1 match on Wednesday, March 5. Franklin will battle a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Johnson (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 7-5.
