North Carolina High School Baseball - Southwest Onslow defeats Dixon

February 28, 2025: Holly Ridge, NC 28445

The Southwest Onslow Stallions baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Dixon Bulldogs to 2 in the Stallions non-league win on Friday.

The Stallions now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to White Oak for a non-league test on Monday, March 3. Southwest Onslow will play a Vikings team coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Dixon drops to 0-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC) to play the Centurions in a non-league test on Monday, March 3. The Centurions go into the test with a record of 0-1. Coastal Christian lost 21-4 in their recent non-league test against Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC)
