In Friday's non-league bout, the Gatewood Gators (Eatonton, GA) baseball squad the host Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL), by a tally of 5-3.
Next up, the Gators encounter the Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 1. Gatewood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL).
The Senators (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against IMG Academy Gray (Bradenton, FL). The Ascenders enter the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, IMG Academy Gray edged Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
