In Friday's non-league bout, the Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX), by a tally of 9-1.
Next up, the Mustangs encounter the El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 1. Grapevine will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Aztecs enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Andrews (Andrews, TX).
The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Plainview (Plainview, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Plainview was overwhelmed by Midland Legacy (Midland, TX), 9-3, in a non-league bout.
