The SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Jackson Day Mariners to 1 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.

The Eagles now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1.

With the defeat, Jackson Day drops to 0-1 on the year. The Mariners host Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC) to play the Patriots in a Metro Eight 1A test on Tuesday, March 4. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 1-2. Piedmont Community Charter lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)
