The Kelly Catholic Bulldogs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Lumberton Raiders to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Woodlands Christian Academy for a TAPPS Division II District 5 test on Tuesday, March 4. Kelly Catholic will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over St. John's (Houston, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Lumberton drops to 7-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-1. Big Sandy lost 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Hemphill (Hemphill, TX)
