The Lake Oconee Academy Titans baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Piedmont Academy Cougars to 5 in the Titans non-league win on Friday.
The Titans now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prince Avenue Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Lake Oconee Academy will play a Wolverines team coming off a 12-8 non-league win over Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-2.
With the defeat, Piedmont Academy drops to 2-2 on the year. The Cougars host George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-4. George Walton Academy lost 17-2 in their recent non-league test against First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA)
