The R-S Central Hilltoppers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Mountain Heritage Cougars to 0 in the Hilltoppers non-league win on Friday.

The Hilltoppers now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Lincoln for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5.

With the defeat, Mountain Heritage falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to face the Bearcats in a non-league battle on Monday, March 3. The Bearcats enter the battle with a record of 1-2. Hendersonville lost 13-3 in their recent non-league battle against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)
