New Mexico High School Baseball - Silver defeats Pojoaque Valley

The Silver Fighting Colts baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 1 in the Fighting Colts non-league win on Friday.
The Fighting Colts now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. Silver will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Pojoaque Valley drops to 0-2 on the year. The Elks/elkettes travel to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 0-3. Bernalillo lost 12-4 in their recent non-league test against Belen (Belen, NM)
