The Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) baseball trounced the host St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC), 8-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Wolverines now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Woodruff will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Greer (Greer, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, St. Joseph's Catholic drops to 1-2 on the year. The Knights travel to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Rebels go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
