Louisiana High School Basketball - Block holds off Pickering

The Block Bears basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Pickering Red Devils to 57 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now have a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton Christian for a non-league game on Monday, March 3. Block will confront a Warriors team coming off a 63-41 non-league loss to Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 16-8.
With the loss, Pickering falls to 12-19 on the campaign.
