The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) and the visiting Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC), observed East Wilkes's basketball team edge Bradford Prep by a score of 59-56.

The Cardinals (17-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions come into the non-league challenge with a 25-7 record. In their last challenge, Queen's Grant edged Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy (Winston-Salem, NC), 67-53, in a non-league challenge.
