    The Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD) basketball edged the host Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD), 59-56 in Friday's non-league bout.

    The Golden Bears now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Century for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 4.

    With the loss, Poolesville falls to 14-10 on the campaign.
