The Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) basketball crushed the host Nikiski Bulldogs (Nikiski, AK), 69-30 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Homer for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 1. Houston will play a Mariners team coming off a 51-38 non-league win over Redington (Wasilla, AK). The Mariners record now stands at 8-12.
With the loss, Nikiski falls to 1-18 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Redington (Wasilla, AK) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 1. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Redington lost 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK)
