In Friday's non-league test, the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC), by a score of 48-46.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 4. Independence will attempt to improve on its 23-5 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 21-8 record after their 65-58 non-league win over McDowell (Marion, NC).
