In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lincoln Lynx basketball team scored a close 47-40 triumph over the Norwalk Warriors.

The Lynx (19-2) will now prepare for their contest against Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Waukee nipped Lincoln (Des Moines, IA), 52-41, in a non-league contest.
