The Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates (Pewamo, MI) basketball crushed the host Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI), 76-38 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 21-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomingdale for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 4. Pewamo-Westphalia will play a Cardinals team coming off a 50-36 non-league win over Kellogg (Delton, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-11.
With the loss, Maple Valley falls to 8-16 on the campaign.
