California High School Volleyball - Rio Linda over Leroy Greene Academy

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) and the host Leroy Greene Academy Lions (Sacramento, CA), observed Rio Linda's volleyball team top Leroy Greene Academy by a count of 3-1.

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Woodland (Woodland, CA). The Wolves enter the Golden Empire contest with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Lions battle the Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 1. Leroy Greene Academy will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Timberwolves enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA).
