Colorado High School Basketball - Merino triumphant over Byers

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Merino Rams (Merino, CO) and the visiting Byers Bulldogs (Byers, CO), observed Merino's basketball team overwhelm Byers by a margin of 64-36.

The Rams (20-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Sedgwick County trounced Burlington (Burlington, CO), 52-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Burlington Cougars (Burlington, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 1. Byers will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 62-23 non-league win over Haxtun (Haxtun, CO).
