The North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) basketball toppled the visiting Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC), 58-45 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 23-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northside - Pinetown for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 4. North Duplin will play a Panthers team coming off a 83-43 non-league win over Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 27-1.
With the loss, Gates County falls to 23-3 on the campaign.
