Wisconsin High School Basketball - Gilman holds off Washburn

The Gilman Pirates basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host Washburn Castle Guards to 40 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now possess a 14-12 record. They play next when they travel to Owen-Withee for a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. Gilman will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 67-35 non-league win over Prentice (Prentice, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 22-4.

With the loss, Washburn falls to 16-9 on the campaign.
