The Northwest Guilford Vikings basketball squad (Greensboro, NC), was crushed 87-41 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC)

With the victory, Lake Norman advances its record to 26-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 25-3. North Mecklenburg won 69-54 in their recent non-league battle against Butler (Matthews, NC)

The Vikings now own a 18-11 record.
