The Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) basketball edged the host Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), 72-66 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Stallions now possess a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop McGuinness for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 4. Queen's Grant will play a Villains team coming off a 63-44 non-league win over Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC). The Villains record now stands at 25-2.

With the loss, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy falls to 20-7 on the campaign.
