The Swansboro Pirates held off the host Fuquay - Varina Bengals lacrosse team by a tally of 11-10 in Friday's non-league match.

Next up, the Pirates confront the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 3. Swansboro will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Rampants come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 16-10 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC).

The Bengals (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Pride come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Leesville Road was tipped by Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 9-6, in a non-league match.
