In Friday's non-league contest, the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) soccer team routed the visiting Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), by a count of 6-1.
Next, the Hornets face the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 3. Western Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Central Davidson held off Thomasville (Thomasville, NC), 9-0, in a non-league contest.
