The South Iredell Vikings smashed the host West Rowan Falcons soccer team by a tally of 8-0 in Friday's non-league game.
Next, the Vikings clash with the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 5. South Iredell will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).
The Falcons (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars come into the South Piedmont 3A game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Carson defeated West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 3-1, in a non-league game.
