In Friday's non-league game, the host Goddard Rockets baseball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls.
The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Coyotes enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Roswell defeated Clovis (Clovis, NM), 9-8, in a non-league game.
