The Soquel Knights (Soquel, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA), 15-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Woodside for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Soquel will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Carmel drops to 0-1 on the year. The Padres travel to Aptos (Aptos, CA) to clash with the Mariners in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 5. The Mariners go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
