North Carolina High School Baseball - Purnell Swett loses to Topsail

The Purnell Swett Rams baseball squad (Pembroke, NC), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC)

With the triumph, Topsail moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, March 3. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Dixon won 9-7 in their recent non-league contest against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC)

The Rams now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gray's Creek for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 4.
