In Friday's non-league challenge, the host St. John Paul II Academy Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-4 triumph over the Vero Beach Indians.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Andrew's (Boca Raton, FL). The Scots go into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Saint Andrew's held off Jupiter (Jupiter, FL), 9-5, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians clash with the Cardinal Newman Crusaders (West Palm Beach, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 12. Vero Beach will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
