The Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Topsail Pirates to 9 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Chapel Hill for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Apex Friendship will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Page (Greensboro, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Topsail falls to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Croatan (Newport, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
