North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Orange overwhelms Pinecrest

February 28, 2025: Hillsborough, NC 27278

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) and the visiting Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), witnessed Orange's lacrosse squad top Pinecrest by a count of 12-1.

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Williams (Burlington, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Central/Mid-Carolina contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Williams was overwhelmed by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 8-3, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills contest, on Monday, March 3. Pinecrest will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Colts enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 16-3 non-league loss to J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC).
