Georgia High School Lacrosse - Pope overwhelms River Ridge

The Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) lacrosse routed the host River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 15-4 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Greyhounds now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sequoyah for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 1. Pope will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Marist (Atlanta, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, River Ridge falls to 3-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Cherokee (Canton, GA) to face the Warriors in a non-league outing on Monday, March 3. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Cherokee won 16-6 in their recent non-league outing against Darlington (Rome, GA)
