Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Adairsville Tigers (Adairsville, GA) and the visiting Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), saw Adairsville's soccer squad hold off Murray County by a count of 2-1.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Gordon Central was edged by Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Indians battle the Coahulla Creek Colts (Dalton, GA) in a 2A Area 7 battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Murray County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 1-1 league Ringgold (Ringgold, GA).
