Georgia High School Soccer - Gilmer knocks off Dawson County

In Friday's non-league outing, the host Gilmer Bobcats soccer squad scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Dawson County Tigers.
The Bobcats (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Ramblers go into the 3A Area 7 outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, LaFayette was overwhelmed by Trion (Trion, GA), 4-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) in a 3A Area 6 outing, on Tuesday, March 4. Dawson County will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Indians go into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA).
