Hampton Hornets (Hampton, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA), 7-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Hampton moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA) to clash with the Chargers in a 5A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA)

The Greyhounds now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland for a 5A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 4. Jones County will clash with a Wolfpack team coming off a 4-1 league win over Ola (McDonough, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 2-2.
